Black Friday anyone?

Well it is the holiday season. Actually I don't know if it's the holiday season yet or is that not until Thanksgiving.....

Anyway I was thinking about going to Black Friday this year. Just because I know I'm going to be off and I would like to see what the hype is about. Has anyone here ever been? Is it really worth it? I've seen and heard some crazy stories.

NO! and HELL NO! Did one 5 years ago and after waiting in line for over 2 hours at Best Buy we set our stuff down and left. People scrambled on our items as we were leaving like vultures.

I will never shopped on Black Friday because I have worked in retail too long. I see how people push and shove each other to get to merchandise. Being a cashier, I have been yelled at, cussed out, and spit on (yes that happened). I am finally out of retail! I don't want to be in those crowds anymore if I don't have to!

I usually buy online because you can find faster the best deals, and you have free shipping. Only one time I was in a mall for Black Friday, and I hated the experience, the rush, the crown the enervating customers are too much for me.

Am I the only one who goes shopping on Black Friday? Wow! I love Black Friday shopping. My sister and I make a whole day of it. We leave really early and have a list of stuff we want. It's a game, to see if you can get what you wanted. It's fun, and you can get some great deals.

Nope, I generally stay away from stores if I can help it, and only shop online. Besides, most of the people I would need to buy for are already hard enough to buy for to waste time wandering through a store anyway, so gift cards are the way to go.

Dang! everyone here is saying not to go Black Friday shopping. I myself will be going Black Friday shopping this year. I absolutely can't wait until Black Friday comes around. There are just so many deals that is actually hard to say no to the deals giving. Especially on electronic devices.

With the amount of stress that comes along with that day in dealing with all of the people and trying to find parking spots you are better off just going online. In many cases there are online shops that offer free shipping depending on how much you buy, so you don't have to worry about that. You can always check out what is in the brick-n-mortar stores later on.

I go shopping on Black Friday every year and it is a good day to get some good deals. Lately it has diminished in popularity due to businesses trying to get ahead of the game by having deals on Thanksgiving night. I have nothing against making a profit, but they are taking away from the true spirit of Black Friday deals.

No way! I shop on-line. Black Friday is the day we decorate for Christmas. It's a nice family day, no stress from trying to find a parking space, dealing with rude people and waiting forever in line.

Exactly! It is the earliest day my wife will allow me to start setting up the tree and put lights on things.
