They start early because so many people start Christmas shopping early.

I heard now that more stores are opened for Black Friday on Thanksgiving Day. Ridiculous!

I've done most of my Christmas Shopping already just so I don't have to worry about it.

When my kids were smaller a few of the neighbors (including me) would take the kids around and bring a wagon with us in case one of the kids got tired or they wanted to put their bag down. A portion of the wagon also had a small cooler for some adult beverages. It made for more of a fun time Trick or Treat-ing.
