NFL player says a bad word

"Nigger" was the word and had to apologize to teammates, society, and everyone else. I do not understand why in this day and age why everything a person does has to be magnified to the point it has now. Are we, as a society, so super sensitive to this? Paul Deen did the same thing and she is now blackballed, so this player had to go in front of his teammates, the press and say again that what he said was not in good taste and will not do it again. The incident was caught on someones cell phone. Is it due to the fact that technology is everywhere or is the person? Either way, society is just too hypersensitive to things. Am I wrong?

There is a difference between whining pointing out that some people are dumb sonsofbitches.

The fact is Martin Luther King jr would be rolling in his grave if he saw what some black people do nowadays given the fact what so many black people had to endure to gain any type of equal rights in the 1900's.

Note the bold by me...you state its offensive period but then go on to permit the word only if you are black?

Actually slaves were called negars not niggers
To further it was not meant to be offensive ...nigger was never meant to be offensive either ...it came for negro ..which means black.
Which later became offensive ....Colored became politically correct..but then later offensive...Afro American {whom the blacks wanted to be called}...you guessed it later become offensive.
And before you know it "black" will be offensive...it wont be the common black man that will move towards it to be offensive..but rather a black person with a little power such as Sharpton or Jackson...it just burns their ass to see blacks and whites get along.
