Heard from my friends running they are all ok

One of them was at the 41 km marker when the bomb went off, rough estimate she was 6-8 mins from the finish

So glad she had a crappy run, normally she finishes in about 4.00 - 4.10

We have been watching it this morning. From what we have herd they have a suspect who was carrying multiple bags and that there were quite a few injured and a few killed.

I don't know who is there but luckily marathons would have multiple health emergency people available.

sure lives were saved because of this, at the finish line of any marathon is a small army of volunteer Drs and medics, normally they deal with cramps and at worst dehydration, exhaustion - today sadly they had to triage bomb blast victims

Detectives last night raided a home in Boston in connection with the explosions at yesterday's marathon which killed three and injured more than 150.

Authorities are still unsure who was behind the blasts - which have been described as small, home-made devices - but have a number of leads which they are following.

Agents, including the FBI and bomb disposal officers, swooped on an apartment in the suburbs of the city after a man, said to be of Saudi origin, was arrested at the scene..

The 20-year-old suspect is under police guard in hospital, where he is being treated for burns and shrapnel wounds to his legs, after he was tackled to the ground by a civilian who believed he was acting suspiciously.



A law enforcement source told CBS: 'They see him running away from the device. Now, a reasonable person would be running away. But this person had noticed him before. This is a civilian -- chases him down, tackles him, turns him over to the Boston police.

you may see someone posting a picture of a little girl running for Sandy Hook school (the shooting at the elementary school in December) it is false picture as the only child known killed is of a little boy who was 8.
