anywhere between 16-24 inches predicted (32-64cm)...glad I am not working that supermarket job....

We are to get 4-6-8. Hell they don't know. Snow will come from our west out of Michigan and meet the other storm over NYC. We actually need some to recharge the groundwater. Don't matter to me but the 35 mph winds will suck and blow it around.

I watched Cal Ripken Jr. play once several years ago still have my Baltimore Orioles hat I bought outside the stadium somewhere. We went to Camp Balfour too on that trip. There is also an amusement park up there that the kids loved. Of course that was during the summer.

PSH we get anywhere near 32 here in Houston and the schools shut down, get ice or god forbid a half inch of snow the entire city shuts down

Our local waether Diva gets so excited over impending bad weather someone probably has to mop the floor where he was giving his forecast from. So many times he has been running around the studio like a hyper kid on speed about the weather you become desensitized to it. Every storm is like Katrina, Camille, Ivan & Hugo combined. God forbid the words snow or ice get mentioned. Schools will announce closings before he finishes his forecast.

You are just pissy since you won't be out bar hopping tonight! Better dig some snowshoes out. Back when I still drank I remember hiking with my backpack and snowshoes till I met a guy on a snowmobile and we ran to the distributor. Can't be snowed in without beer.:tooth

It was on the news here earlier, load of people in this store buying supplies and materials like candles, new shovels and snow blowers.

It's snowing here but accumulations are very low so far and it's not heavy at all. I was debating on walking into town before it gets worse.

The storm has moved east but stayed north from where I am in Pennsylvania.
Still my concerns goes out to those involved.
