TV/CNN and just about every local news affiliates are reporting on the school shooting at Lone Star College in a ghetto side of town :tooth and this fool starts throwing gang signs... REALLY? You dumb ass??

two guys were fighting and brought the fight onto campus. one guy shot 3 times, maintenance man (innocent bystander) shot in leg, and the shooter.....shot himself in the ass!

But it was another "school shooting" and was hyped all over the media. Hell I am sure Kakapo will set us straight on it tomorrow.:24:

today the local media is revising the statement of a "school shooting" and are now saying it was an incident at the school. again the media hyped it all up before knowing all of the facts. the shooter was 22 years old, with a criminal record....imagine that!

I am surprised the media reported it at all. First off it probably wasnt a school full of rich white kids, secondly there was no evil assault rifle used for the shooting. :mad

There have been three other shootings at schools in the United States in the past two weeks, I never seen much media coverage on any of them either.


On Jan. 10, a student armed with a shotgun opened fire at a California high school, wounding a fellow student. A second student received minor injures in the shooting at Taft Union High School, about 30 miles southwest of Bakersfield.


On Jan. 15, a student armed with a pistol opened fire at Stevens Institute of Business and Arts in downtown St. Louis, shooting a school employee and then turning the gun on himself. Both survived.

Also on Jan. 15, two people were killed and a third wounded when gunfire broke out in the parking lot of a community college in Hazard, Ky. Authorities said that shooting was a result of a domestic conflict.

i was just about to come in and comment that since the awful shooting at sandy hooks, there have been 5 other school shootings that NO ONE has heard about!
