If I happened to be there, I probably wouldn't resist...but I have NOT at this point. Therefore, no money spent. It's not something that's on my list of things to do, actually, but if I happened to be somewhere and was like "oh, look" and somebody said "let's do it" I seriously doubt I'd be like "nah, fuck that, dolphins are evil, yo!!!" :24:

You shouldn't do it (swim with the dolphins) because dolphins are evil (which they aren't), you shouldn't do it because through your actions, you increasing the likelyhood of a learned WRONG behavior on the dolphins part.

Look up Beggar the dolphin. Prime example. Also do some research on the tourist traps that have people pay to interact with wild animals (both in the ocean and on land) and see what can happen to those animals in the general vincinity of the feeding grounds.

You don't mutilate someone who is being aggressive, shoot them in defense, perhaps, mutilate, no that is being unnecessarily cruel and I am scepticle this killing was due to agressiveness of the dolphins or self-defense on the part of the killers. :mad I don't find this subject funny. I guess you can say this is a sensitive subjective for me, I am an animal lover.

We tried to lighten the mood Hart.. I think Joe got out of hand as yes any animal can be dangerous, especially humans.. :cool

But yes I agree.. I would have thought maybe someone from those areas may have known the reason for such attacks on Dolphins.

I did not mean the dolphin was killed due to the chance it was being agressive, only pointing out as a species, dolphins have been known for aggressiveness (at least in the scientiffice community), including killing of it's own species.

You seem to pain an awfully rosy picture of the animal, as if it's incapable of intentionally doing harm, which is far from the case.

I'm an animal lover as well.
