Bought some sirloin burgers the other day pre packaged and formed.
Busted em open..wow pre cooked..just warm em up.
No problem.
Started to cook em.
They stank.
Fucking soy burgers.
I am fucking sick of soy
how can it be milk...and burger both
It neither...its just nasty.
I wish people would stop buying the shit so they would quit making it.
Its not burger...just like it isnt milk.
Its nasty and no good ...I mean if it was good why would they name it after good stuff rather than lets say "Soy juice" or "soy patty"

I am not blaming the store...the package was deceptive although it did say vegetarian burger in the corner in a less contrasting color.
Not there is plain sight like "sirloin burger"
How about its not burger at all for one thing sure isnt sirloin.

With the right seasoning I can eat them. I like my own beef trimmed lean and ground once better. Turkey burger ain't any better than soy. I don't like it even disguised in tomato sauce. The folks at the shelter we volunteer at always have vegan burgers. I can't stand them.

Morningstar is a brand of veggie burger that tastes pretty good, especially the basil burger. There is also a veggie chicken patty that our kids eat and they cant tell the difference.

I've actually never eaten a soy burger. I can tolerate a turkey burger if it's cooked by someone who knows how to season it properly...but nothing is the same as a good beef burger.

I had one that was decent...the rest I tried were just nasty.
I like turkey is the funny thing...love turkey lunch meat.
Hell even fried turkey.
But this turkey they grind up real fine and try to pass as burger is just nasty...the odd thing is lunch meat is good which is also fine grind.
