I guess a homicide went down at a dive bar last night. I'm guessing over drugs. A friend living out of state hit me up and was asking me if I knew anything. WTF is wrong with people?

SMH... Apparently, a stabbing went down last night. I get a text from a guy I went to school with who now lives in New Hampshire. Apparently he must of known some people involved but he couldn't get the whole story because nobody would say anything. So he text me because I go to bars around there to see if I knew anything. The NYC comment was because this type of shit goes down in a city like that not a rural city in Central Maine but apparently it does more than I realize. Too many people think they're fucking thugs.

Apparently he must of known some people involved but he couldn't get the whole story because nobody would say anything. So he text me because I go to bars around there to see if I knew anything. Working 911 I've come to realize that the general public has absolutely no clue how much crime REALLY goes on around them. Someone on Facebook was talking about how scary it was that a home invasion had occurred locally. I told them that they had no clue that they only know about that one b/c it was reported in the media...we have at least 1 or 2 a week, easy.

Last 2 home invasions around here(20 miles away) the perps got shot. One was shot by a 82 year old man and died before the cops got there. There is crime in the cities but very little right around here. It pays to have dogs and meet folks with a gun and shoot pretty regular. Word gets around.
