Is it androids fault if your storage is full?
How did you cope with the tiny screen of the Iphone?

When I literally have deleted every app but 2 or 3, yes, it seems reasonable to be frustrated w/ that. Screen size on an iPhone is fine for me...seems equal to or bigger than my Android. :dunno

Sheez, you folks are defensive over these Androids, LOL

As an Android AND iPhone owner, I can say that I find the iPhone to be far superior to my Android. And I am ECSTATIC not to see that damn "storage full" message that I was getting EVERY SINGLE DAY on my Android.

If you frequent job sites with a phone, the iPhone is probably the easiest to break, particularly it's glass.

Cellphones aren't even allowed in the building on my job...I'm good. Otterbox is a must when it comes to iPhones, IMO

I find it hilarious that everybody is hyper-defensive over how hyper-defensive iPhone users supposedly are, LOL

Sounds like you had an early android and a big email account..just a guess
It is common now to buy one with 16 gigs of storage as well as a gig or ram.

Now to the screen...I thought you had posted that 4 inches just wasnt enough :D
Thats with the new I phone..before that it was 3.5 inches which is alot smaller.

Defensive about android?
At one time I would bash em like the rest of em..but they matured enough that it really is a nice OS

I don't think I'm hyper defensive on anything pertaining to cell phones or computers LOL

Just an observation that most of the crack screens I come across from guys are from those who own the iPhone. That said, if you do "real" work and have a phone on your person, it's usually only a matter of time when something starts acting up.

I do LOVE my Otterbox for my iPad though LOL

A jobsite is normally where construction work of some sort is being performed. Cell phones are usually permitted there;)

I'll be honest, I have no idea. I had the LG Vortex. I loved it when I first got it...about a year in, I began to hate it. In addition to the "storage full" and "text message memory full" messages (which, by the way, when I acknowledge it completely erases my entire text message memory) it would randomly silence my text messaging alerts. My keyboard would sometimes randomly freeze. Everytime I would open any app, it would crash. It was super frustrating. Hopefully I won't be saying the same thing about my iPhone in 2 years. :24:

I guess if you know how to use it, 4 inches works. :24: The screen size on the iPhone is fine w/ me.

Like I tell Dana all the time, I just don't get why a few of you are so concerned about something that doesn't affect you. So what if some of us prefer our iPhones to Androids...no skin off your teeth, right??? :dunno

Mine goes on the SWAT truck w/ me. So far it's survived but, to be fair, I've only had it a few weeks.

Because of your comment about Numbers.

Numbers is Apple's version of Excel.

Apologies, when you were asking questions about a 4g phone, you struck me as a teenage girl just wanting something for the sake of having something.

I have the feeling the only thing you know about Apple is what their product looks like;)

I would sincerely love to know what "work" you do with your Smart phone. I've used a Droid phone for a year for work, and it was very limited in what it could do compared to a tablet.

From my limited knowledge of the computer world, I think there are better operating systems than Windows and what Mac has to offer, I just don't need it right now. That said, learn to work a Mac compared to Windows, and Mac really does make things simpler IMO. However, I don't consider myself a Mac "groupie".

Seeings as how I was born in the 80's you'll find, if you know anything about Apple in the beginning, that I've been around for almost as long as Apple. I know plenty about the product, it's actually a great product and I've not said otherwise. I've only said I probably won't own it. I've always been a PC fan and don't have a need or a reason to have to explain that to you.
As someone who is quite a bit of a computer nerd, which you also didn't know because you know nothing about me, it would be pretty sad if I didn't know about Apple products.
Now I'll let you go back to your judgmental ways and see what else you can say I know nothing about. I am keeping a list which is quite entertaining.

Edit*
Forgot to add that there is no way I am going to break down what I use my phone for, whether that be for work, school, or personal.

Honestly, I was looking for advice.

I've used my phone to access manufactures technical websites (which is one reason why I later went with the droid due to it's larger screen making it easier to see). I found that although nothing beat the Blackberry for e-mailing, utilizing it's screen while on websites very difficult to use.

Used the phone to download excel spread sheets. Although easy to view, found to be to difficult to actually work due to the phones screen size.

Used the phone to download and access various work documents that I can either later view or e-mail

Used some technical apps that are around for my industry, but overall, due to the screen size, can be difficult at times to navigate with ease.

I was kind of hoping some input on your end might enlighten myself to what I was missing.

For myself, the iPad does everything above 300% better due to it's size, added that people find it surprising how easy Numbers, Keynote and Pages are to use from "scratch" on the tablet. Tablet is also great for fillable forms using PDF expert.

I'm guessing you're one of those UTube/movie/game/facebook kind of phone people due to your hard on for 4g;)

You must also live in a decent size metropolitan area to utilize your 4G phone 100% of the time for it's "speed". This past week while out of state, I think I only had 4g service on the phone while at the office.

Guessing is just like assuming and we all know what that does. In this case it's more evident on your side and smilies don't make you look any better.

I was actually hoping for some insight as to what I was missing. Sad to say, I figured you wouldn't be able give me some insight.

.

I dont care if someone has an Iphone...I have stated they make a decent product
I dont use them as I have no need to....I use windows pc as it is more versatile
I use android for a phone....larger screen and flash support.
But with that aside ...I find apple to be snots with their warranty policy and sue happy mentality.
Take the last law suit to samsung...apple won because the trial was in the home town of the former executive.
And some pretty sharp lawyers....The Samsungs were not made to be a copy of Iphones they didnt look alike.
Both were built around a screen with a aspect ratio that makes it a rectangle...So they are going to have the same basic shape.
This would be akin to ford suing gm because their steering wheels are also round.
Or flat panel TV sets...you essentially have to read the brand to see who makes it as the all are built around the screen itself the shapes are all alike....A smart phone is a screen and some buttons...Samsung actually beat apple by being able to have more of the front of the phone the screen...they beat em out with a larger phone as well.
Apple is actually a couple years at least behind Samsung....and they sue ...wtf
To me this only does one thing...slow down other companies in technology out of fear.
Apple is not a fore leader to technology in this regard but rather a hindrance.
Other manufactures may be in fear now as we speak..and no longer provide smart phones in the future once existing ones sell off..who knows
Fuck apple ;)
