I am a real baby when I am sick. A fever really kicks my ass. 100.1 a few minutes ago. I feel like shit. Head hurts, body aches and can't stop coughing.

And yes, you men are something else when sick. Maybe it's b/c you are expected to be "strong" so much, so when you don't feel well it REALLY takes a toll. Sounds like a good excuse to me. :tooth

Overall I have done pretty well but coughing continuously for almost three days is taking its toll. I think I am going to see a doctor in the morning. I would hate to feel like this all weekend.

Pain is in my head & neck down to between my shoulder blades. I rarely get a sore chest from coughing.

Hope you feel better. x.X I usually end up having to deal with being sick just once a year, but the flip side is that when I DO finally get sick, it takes me out for a good two weeks. Rasping coughs, dizziness, weak-limbs, borderline coma, all the fun stuff that makes me thrilled it happens so infrequently... and since it's been about a year since the last time I was sick, I'm pretty much waiting for the hammer to fall at any moment.

Was at the doctor's office at 7 am. Did not see the doctor until almost 9. Tetanus shot, steroid shot, chest x-rays, breathing treatment, blood drawn, antibiotic & cough syrup. I just got home a little while ago. I have an infection in my leg and a little pneumonia in one lung. Still running a fever.

Be so glad you caught that pneumonia early! Same thing happened with my daughter, brought her in for an eye infection, they heard her cough and gave her an xray that showed pneumonia. Because we caught it so early she was feeling back to herself in 3, 4 days. good luck!

Funny thing was the pharmacist would not fill my antibiotic without double checking the dosage. When she verified it she said you must be really sick. I would not be standing here in a puddle of my sweat if I was okay.
