(Am I wrong or is there, on whole OTz, no category for beauty topics??? :ninja)

As become a girly girl more and more, AND my nails finally are long enough AND it is summer, I am currently totally addicted to nail polish. And my favourite drugstore has so many beautiful colors at the moment. *.*
Thus, I couldn't resist yesterday when this one yelled "Buy me!!!! Buy me!!!! Take me with you!!!! There is sooo muuuuch glitter in me! And I am PINK!" *lmao*

And then hubby (yes, he knows me very very well) said: "Go go go, buy some more, it's okay.", so I went to the store again today. Result:

Green, blue, lilac, purple with glitter, silver glitter (I always use it as a top coat), and base coat & top coat. *___*
(The glass stick with the purple top is lip-oil with melon flavour. Needed to have it. ...I mean, there is purple in it. AND melon flavour. :D)

- Okay, together with what I already own..uhm.. let's say I own very much nail polish now. :24:

What nail polish do you own? Show me your nail polish! ^^

@Leah: Wow, great. It looks like something you need much patience for, huh?

Not really :) Two coats of pink nail polish, wait for one hour so it dries completely, grab some tape and cover all of your nail but one tiny diagonal line. Paint over it with red, wait a few seconds, remove tape. Let dry then apply top coat of clear/glitter polish.
And you are done :p

I don't like wearing nail polish. It makes me feel like my nails are suffocating. I wear it on occasions like getting married....hmmm suffocating married naaaa, no connection ;)

I love mail polish! But I broke me nail on Monday... I don't mean a girly "oh no I broke my nail.. Cry face" kin of way. I mean split it down the middle half way into my nail bed, blood pissing every were kind of way. So I won't be wearing any until it grows out. Luckily my nails grow quick so I don't anticipate it taking much longer than 6 weeks

Speaking of nails -- Any of you heard about rubbing your nails together to stimulate the growth of both the nails AND your hair? I saw this on TV a while back in some science show, but they didn't mention the hair only the nails. But apparently it has to do with acupressure.
I am a bit skeptic, but I don't see why one can't try it. Free and easy. :dunno

I have a whole little tote of nail polish. Lately only been painting my toes and keeping a clear coat on my nails--but sometimes I do both. Lots of pinks/reds/purples and glittery top-coats.

Everything in the tote:

opinions?? should i cover up my broken nail with a false nail filed and shaped to look like my others until my nail grows out? so that i don't catch the split on anythings an rip my nail off? or should i just leave it to grow out?

I have many, many brightly coloured nail polish. My favorite brand is Barry M. They do brilliant opaque coulours that blend so well, so you have no brush strokes and it dries pretty quick too! They go a great cracked effect top coat in black, white, pink and blue (possibly more colours) which if you have the patients to do it right looks great!
