Apparently they are dropping 25 channels tomorrow night. How much you want to bet they aren't the umpteen shopping/infomercial channels they have?
I did it. I dropped my Dish Network, bought an attic antenna for less than one month's satellite bill, and signed up for Netflix. I have more TV than I care for even now. I'm watching TV series from HBO & such that I didn't watch when they were on TV. The first season of 24 was epic!

I say go for it.

I never think to use hash tags unless I'm watching The Voice and they mention a hash tag. I think I'm too old to fully understand their proper usage, LMFAO

It's from Twitter I think. Trending - what everyones talking about or something. I personally dont use them or understand why people use them outside of that but each to their own.

F w/e network, DTV if it isn't cable it isn't worth it IMO
I love my cable channel line up - Customer service and billing sucks but the channel line up makes up for it, plus i get pretty good internet speed :D

Thanks Leah for making this thread about hashtags... :sarcasm

LoL Sorry I drew attention away from the fact that out of your 100-ish TV channels, they are dropping 25.

*sigh* Seriously Dana, and guys, just step back and reflect how you are living in one of the world's biggest country, with so much potential, so much convenience. Things, that for some people aren't imaginable are right at your fingertips. I know that living in the US of A isn't all rainbows and sunshine, and that you have your fair share of hardship, but you still have it better than most people in the world.
You complain about the TV channels, about waiting in line for 30 minutes, for having to sell your 2nd car and have to carpool, about tanlines, or instagram being down... when right this moment my village doesn't have clean and safe drinking water, and hasn't had it for years now.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want any of you to feel guilty about living where you live and having what you have, but I do want you to appreciate and be grateful for all of it instead of taking it all for granted and complaining.

... ok... ok.... I'll get down from my soapbox now...
