Apparently they are dropping 25 channels tomorrow night. How much you want to bet they aren't the umpteen shopping/infomercial channels they have?

Sometimes things like DirecTV will say they are going to get rid of this channel or that one but they wont actually do it. Something about negotiations and the fans of those channels.

QFT. I watch very little TV and mainly just keep it on in the background for the noise...but when I *do* watch it, there may be 5 channels that I flip between, that's it.

I have a ridiculous amount of channels and barely watch them. If I could guarantee a good freeview signal, I'd take away my TV package but since I like on the main road, the signal can be a bit shaky. I *may* however, reduce my TV package to M from L. I already moved from XL to L in Feb and saved a bit money.

I will wait and see. They seem to be dropping MTV, Nickelodeon, Spike, BET, CMT, Comedy Central,VH!-classic. Of those Spike would be the only one I would miss.

I have satellite free to air, most of them are crap and boring. Can't wait until then end of the month

I have already dropped directv a while back and substituted with Netflix

The only thing I miss from dropping cable is HBO, wish I could pay for the channels I want... not all of them.

I occasionally tune to others, but stick to the BBC1,2,3 occasionally 4, ITV1,4, Channel 4, Film 4 and channel 5

I have Dish Network but only really watch the primetime stations, so like others have said, having all the other channels is sort of useless.
