Sad day for Red Sox fans

One positive for Red Sox fans suffering through tough times like this is that they are more appreciative when things go well for the Sox. If they had more success, they may not appreciate it as much.

I am a fan through thick (1986, 2003) and thin; and I do not like them this year, but hey I can't be all mad! after all they did win in 2004/7

Can Yankees fans appreciate winning like Red Sox fans do since the Yankees have won so many championships over the years? I doubt it.

It will be a shock if the red sox don't make the post season. But it could be a good thing. Getting rid of Bobby and some fine tuning here and there and they'll be right as rain next season.....l hope.

Dice-K has been nothing special since becoming a Red Sox player.
