And your menu says you offer something, don't you think you should have it? I went to Cold Stone today with the rents after a family get togeth to get ice cream. I was going to get froyo but they didn't have any... UGH... But your sign says you carry it.... I should of put my smart ass on and asked her if our small city has such a high demand for froyo that they ran out. This same shit goes on with Dunkin Donuts, they never have donuts or certain products when their sign says they do.

sometimes shit happens and they run out of things. yeah, they "should"--but for a plethora of reasons (they didn't order enough to cover that certain thing, its not that popular and ran out of their current supply, their supply went bad, the distributor got the order wrong, etc) they might not have had it.
does it stink? yeah. but you deal with it, and either find something else you can enjoy or go somewhere else.

Good restaurants stay in business. Good restaurants that occasionally can't deliver the odd menu item stay in business. 'Glass half-empty' types wander from good restaurant to good restaurant, never happy.

I always go to places with more than 1 thing in mind to eat. So if they don't have one thing I want. I still have a back up. So either way I am happy.

I guess with chains you're more likely to get menu items that aren't in demand but are still advertised since they're part of a big business. So what you want might be advertised, but they might not get many people asking for it in your area so they don't stock up much.

It is irritating when this happens but I realize that sometimes places just run out of something, it sucks but I can't get too mad about it, certainly would never take it out on an employee, it's not the waitress's fault if they are out of what I want, I'll just order something else or if I had my heart set on that one thing I'll try to find someplace else that serves it.

went to burger king one time they had no burgers
went to a pet store called "Mans Best Friend" the didn't have any dogs or dog stuff nor did they ever. Dog pic was on the sign as well.
