what is best result for England from the France Ukraine game? a tie probabaly ?

A draw would be better because it keeps both within touching distance. Won't be happening though because France are 2-0 up. A France win isn't terrible, but England absolutely have to beat Sweden tonight.
well at least England know this going in, i just heard Carroll starts and Young moves to a more natural wide position, sounds like they plan to take the game to the Swedes
Sweden are poor on set pieces, so playing a big man up front makes sense. I think England had to win anyway, they don't want to be going into that final game knowing a draw isn't good enough. 7 points would be a very good return from the group because I'd expect them to beat Ukraine.
1-0 to England at half time. Excellent cross from Gerrard complimented by a fine header from Carroll. The performance is good, better than the French one anyway. Just a bit more composure needed at times and be careful at the back (the Terry/Ibrah one for starters) and it should be a win, a second goal would wrap it up for me though.

Excellent game to watch. England defended really poorly for the goals Swedne scored (especially the second) but a fabulous comeback. Walcott was an excellent sub at the right time, scored a great goal and made a goal for Welbeck, who finished well, and generally looked dangerous. Sweden are out, England only need a point to be sure against Ukraine.
Ukraine are better than Sweden so we must improve. I would like to see Rooney, Walcott, Welbeck and Young all in the starting line up. that quartet has enough pace and guile to cause anyone problems.
Yeah Rooney, Welbeck and Young know how to link up well. Tonight wasn't Young's best game but he'll do better. Walcott should start too, certainly ahead of Milner who was dreadful.

It's really in the balance at the moment, Portugal are winning meaning that if Denmark can get a second, Germany would be out. As things stand Germany are winning the group with Portugal second.
