Tattoos with names in them...

What are your thoughts on Tattoos with people's names in them... and No Staci, I'm not going to tattoo your name on me LOL

I was thinking of a sleeve, half sleeve or 3/4ths sleeve that would incorporate my daughters names in it.

what do you all think?

I don't think it's a big issue but I guess it depends on the Tattoo and how the names are placed and such..

Later in life will the kids fight and say, HER name was first, on top or more beautiful cause you like her best..

Odd how the smallest thing can bright the ugly out in people..

Oh course many kids just won't care..

No. The only exception to that for me would be if someone passes away, but even then I think a symbol for them would be better than a flat out name.

hmm i never really thought of that.... the thing is at this time both fo them are pretty young so who knows if what they are into today will still be as fascinating tomorrow lol

I do understand why people get their children's names - you might break up with someone but your kids never stop being your kids! I just find names in tattoos a little too much. I prefer something that looks like art, and if it has another meaning then it keeps it... special.

I would tattoo my kids' names on me if I had kids (have through about having my niece and nephew's names tattooed on me, actually, but haven't committed yet. A significant other...never.

I gotta say I agree with Francis. Of course if they were understandable pieces of a cohesive whole, in a way that made sense (such as oldest to youngest) in the design without explaining maybe it will avoid that sibling rivalry fighting.

I wouldn't tattoo anyone's name on me. I have a tat planned that will represent the boys and I, but I can't see myself tattooing a name at all....ever.
