Which is it? These are a few of the traffic gaffs I witnessed while out earlier today.

1. Riding down the road in someone's blind spot.

2. Pulling a trailer with no lights.

3. Cruising in the left lane 15 MPH under the posted speed limit.

4. Not using turn signals.

5. Not using turn lanes where provided.

6. Distracted driving..ie..phone, food, make-up appying, changing radio stations or all of the above at once.

7. Motorcycles whipping in and out of traffic and swerving between lanes.

99% of the time, we drive to the best of our abilities. Well, most of us do, because it's in our own interest not to die. That said, we are the human component of human error, and we do occasionally make bad judgements, or miss vital pieces of road information.99% of the time, we are invisible out there, just doing it right, getting from 'A' to 'B' and safely back home to A again at the end of the day.The only time anyone ever notices us is when we screw up.

It's surprising how many cars we pass on even a short journey. On a long trip, you might see thousands. All doing it right,99% of the time. The law of averages would have it that 1% is not a big deal, but that 1% COULD kill you if they're just at their 1% as you go past, and you don't anticipate their mistake because you're at your 1% at exactly the same time.

Driving is a complex process, full of hazards. We've pretty much all wrecked a car, know someone who has, or know of someone who never made it back safely to 'A'. So next time someone who looks old enough to know better makes a bad call in front of you, give them the benefit of the 99%, and appreciate the fact that they've probably driven a good few years without killing themselves or anyone else.

I'd say a bit of all 3 wrapped into one. People just don't follow the rules of the road anymore. Self centered pricks. (No not you Allen... :24:)

Driving 60 in the passing lane while breaking the law yakking on the phone. I salute these kind of assholes as I go by in the other lane.

I absolutely hate people who see that the lane they need to be in is busy, and so they ride up the lane next to it and jam their way in - essentially "cutting in line" with their vehicle. If I see someone do this and try to cut in in front of me, I refuse to let them in.

I cannot stand people who don't use turn signals, it's so stupid and potentially dangerous. They're not that much of an inconvenience.

But the WORST is when someone is lost and wants to look around, or means to change lanes and just stops cold and waits. Please keep moving, get in a turn lane, get on the shoulder...we shouldn't have to lock up because you're confused.

Be considerate!

1. Riding down the road in someone's blind spot. - Never really thought about that one ... figured it was the person merging who needs to look over their shoulder to ensure a safe merge. However, better safe than sorry. I will keep this one in mind when driving on the free way now.

2. Pulling a trailer with no lights. - Possibly didn't realize the trailer had lights out ... however, if they knowingly were doing it ... yeah, that is STUPID and INCONSIDERATE.

3. Cruising in the left lane 15 MPH under the posted speed limit. - Driving 15 MPH under the speed limit in the passing lane is illegal. STUPID and INCONSIDERATE.

4. Not using turn signals. - Absolutely IDIOTIC and DANGEROUS.

5. Not using turn lanes where provided - IDIOTIC, INCONSIDERATE AND DANGEROUS!

6. Distracted driving..ie..phone, food, make-up appying, changing radio stations or all of the above at once. - DANGEROUS!!! I don't mind if a driver wants to put their own life in danger (if driving alone) but this also puts other driver's lives in danger!

7. Motorcycles whipping in and out of traffic and swerving between lanes. - Hate to be on THAT clean up crew ....

I hate this so much. It's not even the most potentially dangerous thing out there, but I live in a town built almost exclusively with roundabouts instead of traffic lights, so people not indicating often means you slowing down for someone who is actually pulling off before they even get to you. But you can't risk that, you have to wait just in case they are coming across. It doesn't take two fucking seconds, the indicator stalk is right next to your hand you lazy son of a whore.

Forget pulling a trailer with no lights, when I was driving home Sunday night I passed a pickup truck that had no tail lights. That's incredibly dangerous, especially considering that it was also raining at the time and visibility wasn't the greatest.

Oh I know this is scary...I have driven behind a semi with no lights in a snow storm, a bit nerve wracking and took a while before I could change lanes :s

1. Riding down the road in someone's blind spot. Not always obvious depending on your vehicle. Sorry that's your job.. :tooth

2. Pulling a trailer with no lights. Stupid... Yup agreed 100%

3. Cruising in the left lane 15 MPH under the posted speed limit. I noticed this is really just stupidity and stubbornness I pay taxes so I can drive in any lane.

4. Not using turn signals. I often miss this and admit it.. :p

5. Not using turn lanes where provided. Dangerous driving habit.

6. Distracted driving..ie..phone, food, make-up appying, changing radio stations or all of the above at once. Lunacy :willy_nilly:

7. Motorcycles whipping in and out of traffic and swerving between lanes. Also Lunacy and I see this almost as often as texting.. In fact one day i saw a guy texting on his bike..

I see all of this daily.. My license is my living therefore I have learned to anticipate all these types of drivers and give them plenty of room.

My goal is to not have an accident. I don't care if they need a lesson, I will not teach them how to drive. Why they drive like an idiot is of no
concern so long as they dont run into me.. :)

Oh and ALL three to answer the op.
