:willy_nilly:Can I stop this thing and get off?

Where to start? First, we have a very old cat who is a home body. She rarely travels more than a couple of hundred yards from home. She was acting strange for her Wednesday night. It started raining late and rained almost all day yesterday. We have not seen her since Wednesday night. I am worried about her because this is not natural for her.

My wife's phone started ringing before 6 am this morning. It was the Principal from her school. A lot of the 4th graders were suppose to go to the Huntsville Space Center today on a field trip. Due to the travel time the buses were suppose to be at the school between 4 & 4:30 this morning. The buses were not there. Since my wife is the bookkeeper she was called to find out what can be done to appease parents. Several of whom took off work for this trip. The busline has a note on the door that they open at 8 am. My wife is in a total panic.

We try to touch base with our kids first thing in the morning since they have a tendency not to get moving early. We have had trouble reaching both. Finally got up with the daughter. SSon has a final today but I do not know what time. Still have not reached him.

You call your adult children who no longer live at home every single morning to make sure they get up?

They've got to grow up sometime! If I don't get up in the morning then I miss my bus and that's my own fault, my mum would think I was crazy if I asked her to start calling me to make sure I woke up :p let them make their own mistakes, they'll just rely on you forever to do stuff like this if you let them.

My day is all right, better for knowing that I've got a three day weekend once I get home :)

I usually send them a "Good Morning" text and get a response. So I know they are doing what they are suppose to be doing. I wish they were better about handling themselves. But today is an example of why I do what I do.

Fred, I'm with HK, that is a little ridiculous. They are not going to get more responsible if you two keep babying them like this. I remember when my girlfriend's parents were out of town she asked me to call her to wake her up for school....she was 17. I thought that was silly then.

In answer to your original question. My day is going okey dokey.

My nephew (and sister) is coming home from the hospital today. Spent the morning helping my mom clean the house and move baby stuff around so my sister and brother-in-law don't have to worry about anything when they get here.

.

:( Not to be depressing... but don't sometimes cats run away to die when they're old? I thought I had heard that. I'm sorry and hope she comes home soon!

Hope the cat turns up :)

I played football for three hours and I hurt like mad now. But it's a good feeling.

My day is good for the most part. My nephew got his cap and gown for graduation and I found out my bestfriend is having a girl. Those 2 things make anything else today not so bad...even that write-up I just got. :p
