Going to the Opera

So for Christmas I bought my wife two tickets to the opera. Well it's tomorrow.
We will be heading into NYC to watch La Traviata at the Metropolitan opera. For those who don't know, it was the opera that Edward took Vivian to in Pretty Woman.

It's opening night so it should be a lot of fun.

Anyone else ever go to the opera? This is my first while she has been to a few.

I've always wanted to go to the opera and to see the ballet. I've watched a few on tv but I'm willing to bet, it just isn't the same as seeing it live.

I never been but it is something I'd like to do at least once. Donnie took me to the symphony one year for our anniversary and it was enjoyable. I hope you guys have. fun.
