Did the Christmas Tree Lighting in Asbury Park tonight. The tree was beautiful, the band was good and the drinks were plentiful! Didn't stop at the Wonder Bar or the Stone Pony because I had the kids with me, but I wanted to. The boardwalk is still there but all the stores/restaurants are stilled closed and boarded up because of Sandy, but the Grand Arcade looked beautiful being all decorated for Christmas. I'm so happy that building had little to no damage. I have a couple pictures that I'll post when I get them on my computer. Going definitely put me in the Christmas spirit.

Sadly my kids are just a little too old for Santa. And yes, Asbury made it through Sandy not bad at all compared to other shore towns.
