LOL Funny enough that I'm overlooking the obvious that convicted rapists can't vote. :tooth

Once they server their time they can. There are quite a few states that allow convicted felons vote after their time is served.

I had to look, but only Kentucky and Virginia prohibit convicted felons from ever voting again. In all other states you are still allowed to vote.
11 states allow you after you are released from incarceration.
5 allow you on probation but not parole
the rest you need to server your full sentence.

The info I found says 12 may revoke your rights permanently depending on several variables, 19 allow you to vote after you serve your time plus complete probation and/or parole, 4 allow you to vote after you serve your time plus complete parole, 13 plus DC allow you to vote once you've served your time, and 2 states (God bless them) allow you to vote by absentee vote while incarcerated. Either way, I learned something new today...I could've SWORN Georgia took your right permanently, but I was wrong.
