I was in the only traffic accident which was my fault. Totalled my 1997 GMC Pick-up and ruined my day.
Other than a swollen finger and a little achyness I was fine otherwise. Thank God I was alone because the passenger side was T-boned at about 50 MPH.:eek

I was very fortunate. I love that the paramedic noticed my pulse was a little high and so was my blood pressure. I looked at him and asked, "I wonder why?" (Here's your sign.)

Did you tell him "Here's your sign" cause that would have been great?!!! I enjoy doing so when the opportunity presents itself. :D

You don't here that enough. Someone that admits there wrong for an accident. Kudos.

Here is the rest of the scenario. I was trying to make a left hand turn on a circular green. I am in a turn lane and there is a vehicle in the turn lane across from me. Traffic was heavy and it was raining lightly. The cars in the two lanes closest to me were avoiding blocking the intersection and had left a gap. As I crossed into the third lane I saw a Ford 2500 pick-up bearing down on me fast. I was too far forward to back-up and tried to get across. I think he would have hit me either way as I pulled forward to see around the vehicles in the second lane. I will never forget the sounds or the impact.
