how long would you wait in line for something like an ATM? or a purchase at a store? the reason I ask is because at work with our wonderful network (that crashes at least once a shift if not more) and their patience level sometimes astonishes me. so....how patient are you?

Well since I shop with a purpose of getting something(s) in particular, I usually just wait as long as it takes, unless I have to be somewhere at a certain time. I just keep my eyes for another register if it is too long.

I avoid lines whenever possible. I've learned patience over the years though. Some things just aren't worth getting upset about. It's all a state of mind.

Depends if I have to be somewhere. The other week for example I'm at the ATM, and it was only a couple of minutes until my bus home, and there are 3 people ahead of me, the one at the head of the queue was taking agessssssssssssssssssssssss. Luckily she then fucked off and the others didn't take too long,. And I made my bus. I was thinking "hurry up, you shit". But on other occasions I've had more time so been more patient. In general though I don't have much patience.

It depends. If I'm in a rush then I'm impatient. If I'm not, then I just wait.

Edit: I actually hate standing in line for the ATM. Those always seem to take so fucking long.

At work, I have the patience of a saint and jeez do I need it. In other things, I can get impatient, depending on what I am waiting for, how much time I have and how dumb the person slowing down the queue is.

My ATM is a drive-thru, so, if there are people ahead of me I just crank up the tunes and wait my turn.

In a store it would depend if I had to tinkle, or not. ;) If the line was from the cashier, all the way to New York then I'd get a tad antsy. :p

I'm patient as far as stuff like THAT goes. I'm always the one that tells the cashier who apologizes "It's okay...I'm not in a hurry." Now, if I'm trying to get somewhere and am pressed for time, I'm not patient at ALL when it comes to slow drivers in front of me, LOL

Sorry, but you're just going to have to wait, I'm busy writing a check. Need to get my glasses for that. I think I left them in the car...

I would wait in line for ages for an ATM machine or at a store. But then I'm British and queuing is a national sport.

My patience is alright. It depends on the situation and my mood.
