I do have lots of vinyl still from days gone by. I do miss the days when me and my friends who were into similar music would literally run to the store once we got off the bus in our weekly hunt for new stuff.

...but they are unwieldy to store and whatnot. Had I lots of room, I wouldn't mind though.

This thread is retarded. Why would you miss wasting your money. Want a walkman instead of an ipod ? *face palm* I also miss milking my cow in the morning. Instead of buying a carton of milk....

just imagine if you will, you go to see a band live.a popular act who have had a couple of hit albums, the set last 90 minutes....and you know 3 fucking songs:willy_nilly:....i'm with dana on this

We had this local music shop down here in Houston, it wsa called Soundwaves and it was awesome!
I would go and spend hours looking for old music, they had anything from independent stuff to mainstream stuff and the personnel was always awesome and helpful.

Due to everyone buying music online, they started getting into the stupid-selling type of store aka HotTopic or all the teeny shit with shirts, cheap and crappy skateboards, concert T's, and then even got into the cheesy shit like Spencer's Gifts

so i stopped going

I was a music snob back in the 70's

There was a time when hardly a week went by where I did not buy and album

I have only about 25 CD's

Music has sucked since the early 80's IMO

Dude I don't think recording off the radio is technically legal either, it's just no one's that bothered about cracking down on it :p

Life is simple - don't stand out, don't get caught.
I never stated it was :p

I still buy CD's... we have over 500 between Jim and I.. admittedly most of them are Jim's.

I still by iTunes tracks and I rip songs off the discs for my iPod or so I can make discs for the car.
