Nothing against the Giants or Eli whatsoever, but I can't help but think a grave injustice will be served in the universe if Eli wins his second title and Peyton doesn't. Can't see them beating New England but look what good ruling them out has done thusfar! :24:

and if Brady wins #4 does he get criticized more for being that good or will people still hate him? I don't really hear people hating Bradshaw,Montana for winning four. But why does Montana get the ultimate praise while Bradshaw is not even in the conversation?

I don't see the media as Brady haters; in my opinion he's well supported (and rightfully so). That being said, every quarterback's success and lack thereof seems to be handled differently and not always fairly.

I think Bradshaw did not get the respect because he was not a golden boy per se. If I remember right he started out like crap and was not very cooperative with the media. Plus they had a monster defense along with a very good running game. So I think it was looked up more of a situation where it was team wins.

I don't see Brady as being hated. I think he is well respected. If he wins the game in two weeks it will cement him in the top 5 all time. I would be a bit worried if I was the opponent as it is not likely he will play two bad games in a row. Plus he and the Pats will be well motivated to kick the Giants ass.

I think Brady was a little humbled after winning the three in four thinking he would be the King of the hill, then the Patriots lost the playoff game against the Broncos, then the two losses at home, suddenly he is thinking oh my, I might not be as good as people thought. but still he pressed on, got injured and lost that season. So, now he is back in the game that he shined in. If he and the Patriots do win this game (and I hope they do) he should be mentioned with Montana for sure. I am biased of course and I never thought I would see this franchise where it is and it is pretty nice. I was hoping the Patriots would do good this year and was getting used to the heartache again and thinking that maybe soon this dream would be over and we would be the doormats of the league again. But alas, Brady brings me back to the fold....

I'm actually looking forward to this superbowl even though I'm not a particular fan of handegg. I used to like it in the late 80s when I was a kid and the Giants have always been my team. Remember watching my fist handegg game 3 or 4 years ago when the fucked over the unbeaten Pats in the final and good to see a repeat final, hope they do it again. :thumbup
