Right now there is no snow on the ground here in Maine. Maybe there won't be any on Christmas.

That would be especially odd since we had a foot of the white stuff on Thanksgiving and on Halloween.

I for one am hoping for no snow for Christmas. We got a shitload of snow the past few years just after Thanksgiving. Maine deserves a break!

Yeah, that's about the same here (except we DID actually get snow or ice for 2 years in a row now).

I'm flying to Boston in January to visit a friend and am hoping to see REAL snow then. Woot woot!!!

We have almost no snow here. We had a pretty good storm in November but since then we've had above normal temperatures and a lot of it melted. What's left is very icy and we actually had to put down one of our horses a couple of weeks ago because she slipped and fell and broke her elbow and her jaw. It snowed a bit a couple of nights ago. Not much but enough to cover up the ice and make walking around at work a bit less life threatening.

After having dealing with lake effect snow in upstate NY which could cause over 70" in a day and where people would use snowmobiles to go bar hopping, you can keep the white stuff. That said, talked with a buddy up there the other day and it seems that they're having a "dry" year now.

After last winter when I was out with my snowblower pretty much every evening from Thanksgiving til after New Years without a break, I can say I'm having the time of my life! Last evening, I was outside, in front of my shop, welding on a project. This evening, I hope to finish most of it.
