The more important question in my book is what is his sons stand on his current existing policies?

Are we looking at the same hard-run reign to continue with a much younger son?
OR
are we looking at the possibility of ending the reign that puts up a front of happiness, solidarity, and success that seems to be believed by none other than themselves??

i suspect his sister and her husband may try and seize some power from the son, thing is in the event of any power struggle who will the military side with

I suggest that you go read up on the complete lack of human rights in North Korea... the estimated 250,000+ political prisoners, or the famine that was a result of their economy being completely mismanaged... a famine that killed several million people. Oh, then there's the fact that hundreds of millions of dollars have been requested for North Korea for emergency food aid, while its defense budget was $5.2 billion. Oh, and then there were the public executions used in order to keep control over the population, and the reeducation camps, the prisons, and Lord knows what else. As far as blood on his hands... consider the previously mentioned famine, along with the estimated 1 million people that have been executed as political prisoners.
