Words that you hate.

I hate the word reconnoiter. I even hate the French version.

First of all I have a hard time saying it. I have a slight lazy tongue and it just doesn't sound right. Second of all, there are better words to us like: regroup, debrief, scout out, scope out....maybe I don't understand the meaning?

That was the exact word that I thought of too. I hate when people continually use it and I have such difficulty saying it. I have to take a deep breath and say it really slowly and even then it usually comes out wrong.


I also really REALLY hate bachelorette and burglarize.

I don't much like the word chat. Ok I hate it
I struggle not to use the word retard because it is cruel, but I often self-deprecate with that word because it sounds funny to my ear. Whenever I slip and say it I feel bad.
