I used to do photography which was partly my main interested and my full time job was just for regular income.
Although it used to be a great side earner, I was always doing it because I love photography.

My job doesn't have any ebbs and flows as far as job security goes, but I can usually pick up extra scratch by either volunteering to work roadblocks. Even when I don't need the extra dough, I usually get a SWAT callout often enough to be happy w/ the extra money.

i make posters, business cards, logo's and the occasional resume. Sometimes, depending on the issues i fix the odd computer (hardware and a bit of software) mostly for golf courses when their sprinkler system gets fried by lightning. But this year, i've decided i want to work in retail for a bit to get a little more of a social environment, as being a landlord is a shitty job and one i can't wait to sell out of.

My job pays well enough that I don't need to do side jobs. This works out well for me because I am inherently lazy. I think I'd die if I had to have more than one job at a time. :ninja

I am a plumber. So I do houses on the side. Very good money. I could work when I want as well. Could be as busy as I want.

I dont need extra money as such but I do babysit for extras when going on holiday or something. Or I can work more nightshift or weekends and get extra for the unsocial hours.

My boyfriend sells comic books on eBay and makes a lot of extra money. Sometimes he only gets $20 or $30 but there have been times where he's sold one comic book for $200. It takes a bit of research to do correctly. Some of the comic books are his from childhood, others are ones that he finds people selling who don't really know what they're worth. So he'll pay $10 for a handful of comics someone just wants to get rid of and turn it around to a $100 profit. He also pays a little money to send the comics to a company that gives them a professional grade and puts them in a special case. They're worth more that way. It took him a few months to get into the swing of it, and he had to buy a few before he could sell, but he has now earned $500 over the past few months simply by selling comic books online.

^I could really use to sell some things online...tons of old text books and collectibles. Maybe over break.

Well let me offer a word of advice; if you sell anything make sure to wrap up your package in an insane amount of bubble wrap and stuffing. There have been three occasions now where my boyfriend received some of his graded comics back and the boxes were mutilated and the cases inside were cracked and damaged. I don't know what the fuck is wrong with the postal employees these days, but it was extremely frustrating.

Oh god. CGC books came back with the cases busted? *cringes*

I'd die if any of my CGC books had come back that way.
