If someone gave me a note, I would laugh and show my mates. If he was creepy and gave me a note, I would be a bit weirded out and probably avoid that particular place. I cant say for sure, but I doubt I would report it. If anything I would laugh at the guy and say "yeah mate, in your dreams" as I walked out. I dont take offense unless particularly uncalled for comment or derogatory comment is made.

I would prefer if he would flirt with me and tell me I looked hot in the dress though.

TBH the co-worker got what he deserved.

There is a thin line between a compliment and an inappropriate comment at work when it comes to doing it at work, you should just air on the side of caution and keep it to yourself.
