I googled the location of the Lover's Stone (sue me!) and just got it! It's LEGIT, ALL skills progress 15% faster!!
I got smithing up to 80 today. I can now make EPIC rated armor and weapons!
I have been having a hard time with the wife going to bed at 9ish and I stay up till 2 am almost everynight. I am tired but hooked still.
It's because it can take a lot longer than you realise to do just one quest. (And there's nearly 240 of them)
I might just do that skill just to level up.
I got my first skill to 100, smithing. :24:
I've primarily been a fighter, but I've decided to become a Battlemage, and since I have heavy armor, blocking, and one handed weapons high, I just need destruction, and alteration to be higher.
I killed that dog for barking so bloody much.:tooth...then to my disappointment outside the dwarven city some guys sells the barking dogs for 500 gold, however, if you you don't buy one you end up finding another stray next to its dead owners....That dog I haven't killed yet.If I have my phone on me while playing, I google weird places I come across. That's how I found out Meeko's shack had a dog by it that joins you. (Which I completely would have missed otherwise)
The lovers Stone is one of the first stones i found, but didn't realize it was the better stone until the other day. I was preferring the ritual stone prior...I do a lot of 'bear hunting' to fill my soul stones for charging my weapons. Got the BEST mace of some god the other day that takes the dark souls stones to fully charge but wow its an awesome weapon and fills my empty stones quickly.I googled the location of the Lover's Stone (sue me!) and just got it! wow 240?? omg...no wonder my entire life has been in Skyrim for the last week. :tooth (Like i have anything better to do with a broken foot tho...lol)The hours really fly by sometimes lol.

ooooh ok i'll try that. I spent a lot of the last couple of days making potions and enchanting stuff for gold, so now i own two houses that are fully decorated...lmaoI've done it by making nothing but steel and iron daggers. Over, and over, and over, and over, and over, again.
dremora lord...oooooh i'll look forward to getting that quest. :thumbupBattlemage is a cool class, but it's a bit too much mirco management sometimes. My guy has armour spells and bound weapons for when i feel like close up action, but the problem is having to buff myself up first, then firing off some fireballs at a target, then switching to the weapon which takes especially ages to pull out of your bum. If you can get it to work simply though you'd have theoritically a lot of damage potential.
My dremora lord is pretty incredible too. He was jumping on dragons heads yesterday and finishing them off. And not long after, walking down the road to whiterun in pitch darkness with my dremora, he suddenly speaks: "I SMELL WEAKNESS" Then a khajit assassin jumps out of the bushes and starts charging at me with dual swords. Dremora Lord steps in front of me, pulls out his sword, and decapitates the cat where he stands. I've only had time to piss myself in the process.![]()
