The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

I picked it up for PS3, going to start it tomorrow on my day off.

Anyone else pick it up? If so, what do you think?

i'm enjoying it! The graphics on my ps3 are really amazing in this game. You can certainly expect to get lost i it for a few weeks.

This game is epic. Albeit, I've only played about four hours, the weekend is right around the corner, and I'll be in the world of Skyrim for most of it.

The 3D rendering of the landscapes is nearly breathtaking. Bethesda really hit a homerun with that.

I've heard so many great things about it from people and it looks awesome, so I'm definately considering buying it. I guess this means I'll have to haul my xbox out of the closet and remove 2 years worth of dust.

I want the game so badly! Especially as an rpg fan. This and Dark Souls will be my major games. I want to get it for my brother for Christmas but it's too damn expensive right now.

Been playing it incessently. It's a great game. One thing I am really impressed with is how much more refined it is than Oblivion. No more needless stats etc. Maybe hardcore RPGers won't like it's popularist pandering, but it suits me.

One thing I think could do with a bit of work is just allowing the player to travel to any of the major cities from the get go, like in Oblivion. I know you can take a carriage there, but that just begs the question even more.

I agree, it is much more refined than Oblivion. Oblivion was awesome too, though.

My biggest frustration with Bethesda games in general, is navigating around the world, sometimes places seem impossible to get to because of all the fucking mountains and cliffs and crap.

I've killed four dragons. How about you, Zorak?

I've killed about 8 or more dragons so far. I'll check when i am allowed on next. Key word, allowed. LOL I have to wait until everyone is at school or work again, to play. LOL

I love all the new things you can do like fishing, hunting, enchanting, alchemy, etc...LOL ok I like it all.

I'm taking a break from it today (only because my son is playing it right now. LOL) I was on it all day yesterday, even had to turn the extra fans on the ps3 to stop the overheating. LOL

Got my character to turn into a werewolf yesterday, so have that extra power now. Had a laugh turning a chicken into a zombie, until the magik ran out and it turned into a pile of dust. LOL
