Some illegal ones have taken to camping on the heliport next to my town centre. I passed it on the way home after several pints and decided to try and have a chat with them. I knocked at a few caravans with the lights on and the sat discs on top, no one answered though, even when I sat in the middle of their circle for half and hour calling them out. So much for them being victimised and overlooked at putting their point across, they only like doing that and playing the victim when there's cameras pointing at them. Oh, and they all had brand new Mercedes ect, wonder how they paid for all that?

And before you get too sympathetic, they are in general nasty criminals. About 80% of the crime in my town of 100, 000 people is committed by gypsies (numbering about 200). They are racist, look down on non gypsies, think the're above the law and regard sexual assualt as their custom and anyone that critisises it is being racist to them.

I think it's disgusting what the government did to those ones who wouldn't leave that plot of land in London. To anyone who doesn't know this story a group of gypsies, as they do, decided to park their caravans on someone elses property. The government needed to move them because it was where the entrance for one of the Olympic parks is going to be. So, being the pussy government that they are, they BUILD THEM HOUSES and make a nice little place for them to live next door, AND compensate them with thousands of pounds for having to move them.. bare in mind that they're there illegally right. So, gypsies are gypsies and what do they do, wreck the place and let all their other gypo friends come and park their caravans all over the place.

The place next door where they were living is now the building site for the entrance of one of the Olympic parks (I think maybe the athletes village?) and what do they do? Steal things from there including feed the hose pipes from the site into their little gypo park to steal water. Government leaves them to it.. can't upset the gypsies. They leave rubbish bags all over their new, free street. Now, if I was to go around leaving rubbish everywhere, I would surely expect to be in some kind of trouble for it, right? Do they get in trouble for it? Of course not! The government pays for an extra bin round (like trash men to come around) an extra time every week! Just to clear up after their mess!

So now they have wasted millions of pounds, handed them thousands of pounds each, and have a bigger mess and twice as many gypsies.

Moral of the story boys and girls? If you want a free ride in life, buy a caravan. Or, actually just steal it because I'm sure you'd get away with it. Then park it illegally on someone else's property and you'll not only have the right to stay there, but the government will also let you live tax free AND give you lots of money!

Sorry for effing and jeffing everyone, as you can tell, they really do make my blood boil.

i remember as a kid my Dad and uncles getting together when a bunch of gypsies decide to camp out on my schools play ground. I just recall them coming back to the house bloody and laughing. They'd taken a good beating to the gypsies and drove them off. I think there was a lot of local men from my village that got in on it too. drove them away. Only thing i remember being left on my school yard was ashes from the left over camp fire and rubbish the gypsies left behind. There was a lot of that back then...I remember a few times my dad and uncles going out to drive off gypsies from areas around Liverpool and Wales. Almost a sport for them. LMAO!!!:tooth:24::ninja

Some are, a lot of them are Irish. Well of some kind of Irish decent, they talk in a weird half Irish accent which no one except them seem to be able to understand!

most definately not romany's......these are pykies,tinkers plus a few other names,they survive by crime and extortion....every time they leave a site they leave a mountain of rubbish and shit which costs thousands to clean up

I was being facetious..(surprise!). But no. I meant the OS tourists/backpackers who rent vans, then camp (illegally) in the carparks of beaches, leaving their rubbish...making noise, being obnoxious.
Its a big problem here, especially around Christmas...peak tourist time/

It's rare that I'd say this but truly, the gypsies have a reputation that is entirely deserved.

They live illegally on whatever land they choose, banking on the difficulty it causes local councils to try and evict them to keep them safe. All their other unsavoury behaviours aside - and there are many - the fact that they refuse to even attempt to integrate with the society they are happy to take from sets them apart. They don't want to be part of a community, but they're happy to set up camp on public property and make a damn mess.

And these are the problems faced by an unarmed society. I would LOVE to see what would happen if a caravan of gypsies tried to camp out on private property here in the states. I would think it wouldn't end well for them. And after a few attempts, they would learn to buy their own fucking property.

Perhaps I'm biased, I can still remember the stories my grandmother told me as a child about some of the Slavic "gypsies" in our family from the old country LOL

If you look at it realistically, gypsies are the racist because they think they are above the law and should get special treatment. I'd like to see how far I would get if I build a shed in my front yard without planning permisssion, let alone a home.
