Oh no, they're an energy drink w/ a shit ton of alcohol in it. They've been pulled from the shelves in many places b/c college kids were killing themselves drinking that shit. You combine an alcoholic energy drink w/ college kids and you get kids who are extremely intoxicated but too hyped up to pass out drunk.

Ok, had to look up what a 12 oz beer was in UK terms. An absinthe bomb has the equivalent of about 7 of those in it.

I got the most drunk I've ever gotten the night we had those at a friend's party earlier this year. We wound up splitting five of them between three of us, plus all the other alcohol we'd had...it was not pretty the next morning. That's the only time I've ever had a hangover. And I blame the energy drink component of that.
