I dont think you can..a Yahoo email account is just that..an email account...not a paypal account or bank account etc.
Money would need to be sent to a paypal account or similar.

No...what she's saying is that you can send money to an e-mail account through Paypal. So while he may not have Paypal, it IS possible to send money to someone who has Paypal if all you have is their e-mail address. Make sense???

Right paypal has to be common..we dont know that he has paypal...we wouldnt be sending to his email..but rather to paypal..with the email addy being the recipient

Using that as a GENERAL STATEMENT (since YOU yourself didn't say "unless you have a Paypal account associated w/ it)...it is not true...b/c if you have someone's e-mail address and they have a Paypal account you don't need anything BUT their e-mail address to send the money to them.
