Thing is, I don't think natural implies good nor bad, necessarily. I think some natural things are bad and some are good...so if bestiality and homosexuality are both natural, I would expect someone to need to use more reasoning to determine their individual value or harm to society. Hopefully that reasoning is logically sound :p

Very well said. I am curious, what "natural things" do you consider bad? Usually in nature, there is no good nor evil, just survival.

Some consider a natural forest fire a bad thing. However, in the long run, the destruction makes room for life.

Funny, thinking about that picture I put up on the alien, if you think about it, take most average men, and make an alien "hot looking" like the one in the picture I posted, and even if she (the alien) didn't have any cognitive thinking ability WHATSOEVER, put them on an island with her for years, and sooner or later my money is on the fact that he is going to try and have sex with her (let's face it, most men are dogs). Fact is, wouldn't that be considered bestiality? But...because the alien has characteristics that make her look like the same species, I'm guessing most men would say "what the heck, he was on that island WAY to long anyways" LOL

Guess it's just too hard to make a fury animal look cute LMAO

I would say rape, which occurs in many species...we don't currently have a lack of population, so it would seem this naturally occurring violence is bad, as well as not currently useful.

Natasha, let me explain this to you. If a dog puts his pecker in anything, he does so with his consent. If the dog didn't want his pecker where it didn't belong, he wouldn't put it there. Does that make sense to you?

Fact is, when you mention the term "rape", people normally assume it's the male doing the raping (which is not always the case). It's easy to defend your position on bestiality when you assume the four legged animal is not in control.

As Panacea pointed out, sex outside of ones own species is not abnormal in nature. However, because the animal committing the act is human, it hit's "home" and everyone knows human beings aren't capable of committing such hideous acts;) Get over it. People do some sick stuff. The question is, who is doing the defining of "sick".

By the same token, as much as this topic may disgust you, the fact is homosexuality disgusts some people as well. More than once I have heard people use the fact that homosexuality occurs in nature to "defend" homosexuality with humans. Not saying it's right, but I can see the double standard.

I would distinguish the reaction from a double standard only because consent is clear with humans and not clear with animals.
