Any of you ever tried the beachbody workouts? I have done p90x and now am trying the insanity dvds. I really didnt care for the p90x. I really enjoy free weights and p90 just didnt do it for me. I am about to the second month of insanity and really enjoy it. Still not even close to what the people on the dvds can do, but I am holding my own. It really kick your arse. Picked up a heart monitor that tracks calories burned. You program it with height, weight, age, sex and it tracks your heart rate and estimates calories burned. I have hit close to 1000 before for a 40 minute workout. I am sure it is off by some margin, but definitely feeling the burn. Anybody else doing it?

I downloaded the Insanity Workout a few months back, but haven't properly got round to trying it yet... did a few days of it and it was pretty brutal. But then had to go away and work so put it on hold :p

I haven't done it and doubt I will any time soon. I think it's still a little too intense for me, LOL I'll stick to my twice daily gym workouts and my DanceFit classes. LOL

Good job, though...keep up the good work!!!

I have done the Beachbody workouts a few years back. I like their use of the workout balls/ dumb bells/step and the metal bar. Is this insanity workout a newer/more advanced version? I also did P90x last year, although the more advanced exercises of P90 were straining my back a lot hence shifted to Zumba which is so much FUN and doesn't feel like a workout at all.
