I didn't see her finish the dash so I can't say. I saw everyone in your group come thru the mud except for her.

OMG...that was mean!!! LOL Glad you didn't get it, though. Looks like Tami and Connie are the only 2 of our group that haven't shown up w/ it yet. I'm sure it was something we came in contact w/ when we got the bright idea to hike the entire mountain trail the day before the dash.

See, that's just weird. She says that the fire department wasn't rinsing her off w/ enough pressure (it was super forceful pressure when I was up there) and that she had to use the water running down the road to wash off in (which was nothing but watered down mud). She just looked way too clean for that, IMO. Also, she caught up to Elizabeth and Brandi and passed them...and she started off w/ me and Connie. So I don't know if she short-cutted it or what. I don't care if she did...but at least own it, yanno??? LOL

Sooooooo...ummm...I hope Booms and Maulds got my text earlier, LOL So far 4 of the 7 in our group have come down w/ poison sumac. I don't know if we got it from the dash or the campsite, but it's spreading fast. I hope you 2 didn't get it, too!!!

Well I hugged both of them (well, actually, I didn't actually HUG Maulds b/c I was muddy...but I put my arm around him). Nobody started itching until AFTER the dash, though, so I'm thinking we got it there maybe.

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooo...I'm back.

Finished the Dash, but came close to not finishing. I got lightheaded twice and had to actually sit down in the shade and drink some water. But there was only a little bit of running/walking, the fire pit, and the mud pit left...and I had been waiting the whole race for that damn mud pit!!! But the big news is.............I TACKLED THAT DAMN WALL AND MADE IT MY BITCH!!! My arms felt like jello and I have blood blisters on the bottom of both feet, but I did it (again, LOL). This course was a lot tougher than the Georgia course...lots more climbing than Georgia (like 4 walls to climb this time, LOL).

I am SO glad that Boomerang and Maulds were able to make the trip up. It was great meeting both of them...they were awesome. Boomerang is so frigging cute, I'm telling ya...seriously, like super cute. And she's really sweet, too, and a lot of fun to hang out with. Maulds got to hang out longer than Boomie did...he served as our official photographer and dog-watcher, LOL (I promise that wasn't the only reason you were invited, LOL) And yes, I *did* slap his ass...bwahahahahahahaha. There are pictures of that, actually...as soon as my cousin uploads them I'll post them up. Thank you, Boomie and Maulds, for coming to hang out w/ us...everybody really enjoyed meeting you guys. Next time you both need to run it w/ us!!!
