What do you do for fun in your free time?

I don't have much free time. I guess visit my bf and watch sports.

I too like to read, I like to ride the motorcycle w/my hubby, walk my dogs, I love to swim when I can, I used to volksmarch but I haven't been in a while, love to drive my convertible with my radio blasting, but I have to keep the speed down as I tend to get tickets and my hubby tends to get understandably pissed, drink beer (not while driving, I am good about that) play w/my dogs and cats, obviously post on here and some games on the internet, gab on the phone w/some friends. I do like to watch movies too. I hate clothes shopping. I used to skydive but haven't done so for a few years.

Reading, sketching, driving, playing around online, cooking, sewing, knitting, crocheting, etc...

anything outdoors esp mountain trailing/hiking, watch movies ( drive-in is so much enjoyable given the good climate here all year round), read ebooks, gardening, cooking/baking esp new recipes, hang out with friends, restaurant hopping ( trying new and different international foods), photography, short drives to different places I've never been b4 ( there's lots to see here for adventures)

I joined a fundraising committee in the spring, figuring that would help, but everyone was either 20 or 70 years old and I fell in the middle. I joined a running group and it rained every week so most people didn't show up...

Maybe there are other outdoor activities or camping groups ( which i know you love ) that you can join besides a running group. Doesn't that meetup.com ( if that's the site you signed up with) give you that option to click all on your interests and receive emails from many groups? Maybe it'll help esp if you check the most active ones.

Since time is limited with family obligations, if I really want to have fun, I go down to the local river and do cartwheels, squirts and rock splats in my play boat.

I read a lot, watch documentaries, occasional go for a run and sometimes bake.

I like to spend time in my shop creating stuff, repairing other stuff, and just tinkering around. I have collected some goodies over the years. I have a small engine I saved from the top of the scrap pile at the local junkyard. Cleaned up the valves so it had compression again and it runs! I love the fact that we're such a throw away society, that we don't even attempt to fix simple problems, we just toss stuff away and buy new.
Have an old military surplus generator that I use to power tools when I'm away from an electric source.
I want to add a few more things like that to my collection.

I go to a jam session with some friends who play Bluegrass and Country music. That's pretty fun.

Crazy what people can't do for themselves any more. I used to be in the trades (Plumber). Running my own service van. It is insane what people do not even attempt to do on there own. Once a week I would go and tighten a toilet seat for someone. 100 dollars for me to just walk in the house and use a screwdriver. I loved those types of call but makes you shake your head.

Also got my first lawn mower from just finding it on the side of the road. The guy told me I was wasting my time. It couldn't cut grass. It was a brand new mower pretty much. I took it home and flipped the blade around. Buddy just put it on backwards.

I don't have a whole lot of free time but with what I DO have I like to spend with my daughter/family. We both have gym memberships, which we use a lot and enjoy. I also love to run, I love curling up with a good book or an old movie and, whether it be going out for coffee or dinner, going to a movie etc, I love spending time with friends as well. I love to swim in the summer and ski in the winter( even though I suck at skiing) it can be a lot of fun and great exercise.
