Feel free to answer. As i said before I am addicted to snowboarding plus I like traveling and chatting and as well I like comedy movies plus I am studying languages and a bit wind-surfing. I think that is all for a while.

I fixed your thread title. :ninja

I like to read, watch movies, hang out with friends (happy hour, dinner, whatever floats our boat) and post on OTZ. :)

Nothing interesting and I'm open to suggestions.

I moved to a new town about 8 months ago and I really don't know anyone. I'm 40 with no kids, which makes meeting people with things in common difficult. There's really nowhere to go to meet anyone other than the bars and I really don't feel like doing that...I'm not looking to get picked up.

I use to walk and jog everyday, read alot, but socializing was my biggest past-time. I love to cook and have people over. Now I'm totally in a rut and putting on weight like crazy because I'm depressing myself thinking of how lonely I am!!

What do you do for work? Can you meet people there?

A good way to meet people in a new place is interest groups. If you're interested in hiking, biking, running, etc do a search online to see if there are any groups that meet to do group activities. :)

I'm an office manager and although there's quite a few that work here, there's no one that lives close enough to do anything with after work.

I joined a fundraising committee in the spring, figuring that would help, but everyone was either 20 or 70 years old and I fell in the middle. I joined a running group and it rained every week so most people didn't show up...I'm trying to find out if there's courses that I could sign up for in the evenings, but so far there's nothing available and I'm going in and joining the gym this evening, at least that will pass the time.

C'mon...get the fiddles out, this is my sad sad song! LOL

My free time is crazy. I spend most of it with my one year old daughter and almost 3 year old son. If they go to bed then it is watching tv with the wife. Also renovating my house over the last 3 years. Or I have a 4th gen civic that I am in the process of working on. My kids keep me busy though. Trips to the park and running around in the backyard. Movie nights.

You can meet people at the gym, there are always those ones who like talking a lot more than exercising.

Go to the Gym (Yeh some of us actually find it fun!), watching movies & sports, playing on the xbox, or chilling up the rec (local attraction) :p

I am retired so I now have the time to do many things. My main interest is in Amateur Radio. I have a nice station at home and talk all over the world on a daily basis. I also like animals and have aquaria and a wonderful chihuahua. I play organ, piano and sing. I don't go in for crowds so my home is my main domain.

Playing with my boys, watching football & soccer - among other sports, working out (weight training & jiu-jitsu), anything outdoors (camping, fishing, hunting, etc.), working around the house, and xbox 360 when time permits.
