Woot. 2 of my winning entries (including the last) were taken with an old P&S - was hoping I could use that to prove that reasonable pics can be taken with P&S cams, so no need to be concerned about the DSLR folks.

That wasn't meant to be a confident "I'm so winning this" type of thread if it seemed like it. It was just unfortunate timing. The next league *will* happen but it will probably be delayed a touch to give people a break going by the voting in some of these stages.

That shot was just done by exposing a bit longer (I think it was about 3 seconds) and holding the camera steady as I could against the bridge rail.

You're right about the location. I had no idea what building it was but me and a couple of colleagues had just come from the Eye whilst on a training course in London.
