Welllllll, after Pad Thai, a bit of pineapple cheesecake, and sips of non-diet soda this weekend, I'm going back to Phase 1 on Southbeach for a bit :24: Need to reign it in if I want to hit my mini goal for the month.

I think my last wisdom tooth is going to make a failboat entrance...it's hurting really bad; the others were tolerable. Idk if this one will need to be removed :( Maybe I can get someone to rip it out with a knife for $30 instead of paying $600 for the same effect :p

I love pad thai. :ninja

Wisdom teeth are terrible. Cost me $700 to have mine removed (with insurance) and they didn't put me under. But after the initial pain after they removed them, it was a relief to have them gone. Good luck to you.

Ugh, that's just so expensive. I have no insurance, so I've left them all. :\

Damn girl that's no good! My dental only covers $1000 and I had 4 fillings done at the same time. Yes I'm a glutton for punishment. So I have no idea what the removal actually cost.

And yes... my wisdom teeth weren't impacted and they were all in so they didn't need to put me under. They just gave me a couple Valium and I was good to go. It actually wasn't a big deal. The fillings were worse. :eek

Ok, well that's not as bad. All of mine are at least mostly out but one.
Haven't been to the dentist in like 10-15 years, it's so sad :(

Have a job lead with insurance, if I ever get insurance it's literally the first place I'm going :24:

Damn girl! What do you do?

I actually didn't start going to the dentist until I had my wisdom teeth out a few years ago. It wasn't due to lack of insurance but a serious fear of the dentist. :willy_nilly:

I guess if it gets unbearable or swells really bad I will look up places that would take me without insurance and just take the hit from my savings account.

Aw, ya, it's not a very pleasant place!
