The Canadian military always paints a CF-18 for airsho purposes and this years theme was " Support Our Troops ".

The first 5 shots are just random ones. As you can see there was a lot of smog or forest fire smoke in the area which did not make for crisp shots.











If you click on the following picture you'll find out why I did it in a slide show format. Besides the smog there was a lot of moisture in the air due to very high humidity levels. It sure played hell with the exposure though.

I think it's really cool looking particularly in the 5th and 6th pictures. I know it's not what you were going for, but it's kinda cool.

Actually I love capturing the shock wave vapor but better conditions would have been nice.

Yes they do. They throw bats and pocket knives out the window.

That's my fav as well. I would have liked the sequenced ones more if the exposure would have been better. Sometimes it hard to do when the buggers are honking along over 500mph and you only get one chance.
