A-10 " Warthog "

It's an amazing piece of machinery that I never get tired of watching. It also has a very distinct sound that would strike fear into any enemy it faced I'm sure.

When I was stationed at Osan Air Base in South Korea they still had an A-10 Warthog flying mission, and they are BAD ASS!

Same plane. Thunderbolt is from the manufacturer, Warthog is it's nickname.

In the first Iraq war a few of 'em came back shot up pretty bad. Amazing that they could still fly.

Something else that's fairly amazing is they were going to mothball the A-10 because they were unproven in battle prior to that war. That war made 'em have a change of heart. :thumbup

They were doing a fake shoot-'em up and the plane flew right through the smoke. I thought it was a fitting effect and I'm glad I captured it.
