:24: Couldn't stop laughing...., sorry Zorak

Why? We lost but it was a thoroughly enjoyable game of football. It's a pleasure to be beaten by a team like Swansea who do the premiership proud, rather than a team like Liverpool who are an embarrassment to not only themselves and the rest of the league, but football in general.

Swaaaaaaaaaansea XD

I was one HAPPY fan yesterday, proooudly wearing my Swansea jersey =) And, great comments Zorak! It's so great seeing people talk about Swansea in such a positive way. I even saw some great comments on a Cardiff City FC forum, just a great time for everyone involved with the club.

Indeed. I believe if Spurs lose at Man City that's it for them, 8 points is too much. We have to beat Arsenal on Sunday either way, though the ideal scenario is Spurs/Man United winning. I think both will be draws as it happens. Which wouldn't be tragic.

Bolton 3-1 Liverpool. Bolton looked very good and Liverpool looked awful. I mean truly awful. Mark Davies walked through the Liverpool defence (I mean literally walked through - there was a big hole) to score first. Nigel Medi-ocre scored the second after more classy defending. Bellamy pulled one back but then Steinsson scored off a corner, great marking again. The game raising cunts won't play this badly in their next two games.

Shit, I predicted a draw but that's a great result for Bolton and Coyle.

It is, it really is. I still want Bolton to go down, little shitty club. And Kevin Davies plays for them.

We, most definitely, shouldn't be losing against a team like that but that's life really. But what gets on my nerve is a few fans wanting Kenny out. :\

I think some are just realizing that Kenny isn't the savior, which I think everyone outside of Liverpool always knew, regardless of how much cult status he has is only going to get you so far given the squad Liverpool have. And the fact that the signings Kenny's made have mostly failed. Suarez has done well but Carroll hasn't. That's £35m wasted. Henderson has looked ok in fits and starts but he hasn't really got any better than what he was at Sunderland. Downing is awful, Adam isn't much better. The bad thing is they can't really blame the last few results on Suarez not being there, because while they haven't won in the league since, they weren't winning with any real regularity before, and they have only scored 25 goals all season, this means that Wolves have scored as many. Blackburn and Bolton have scored more, and they are all in relegation trouble. And remember, Liverpool have only won 3/10 at home, they haven't lost, but they've drew 7, and these are against teams like Norwich, Swansea and Sunderland, and they wonder why they are where they are. They're certainly out of any Title race (although they were never really in it) and them finishing top 4 is really really unlikely. If they weren't as astute defensively they'd be in a much worse position. Kenny looks like a defeated man, but I also think if he wins the next two games he'll buy himself a little bit more time, but if they go out of the cups in the next 6 days (which isn't that unlikely) then he'll be in a lot more trouble.

As for Super Sunday today, I said before I think both games will be draws and I wouldn't be that dissatisfied with that. And I don't think Spurs would be either, but this is a game Spurs will think they can win. City since....I'd say the Chelsea game haven't looked the same team they were and they can certainly be got at. But Spurs have to play well. And if we play well at Arsenal we'll win, because I honestly don't think that Arsenal couldn't stop Rooney, Nani, Hernandez, Valencia, Park, Giggs and Scholes if we are on song. They probably won't all play (I'd go Carrick/Anderson/Giggs in the middle with Nani and Park supprting Rooney up top, it's worked before against Arsenal) but most will and hopefully we'll have enough. It won't be 8-2 again, but any win would be welcome.

It isn't Kenny's fault, just some players aren't pulling their weight enough

It's his job to motivate them, and above all else, set them out in the right tactical set-up, which he hasn't done in ages. Liverpool don't have a system, they're never sure if they're going to play three at the back, or 4-2-3-1, or like yesterday 4-4-2. Carroll and Bellamy linked up well yesterday, but in the middle of the park they were overran by players of low to mediocre quality. So it just became the typical hoof up to Carroll for a flick on to Bellamy. It's championship level football, if not lower.

Fucking Spurs. Came from 2-0 down to be drawing 2-2, miss a great chance which would have won it and then go and give away a penalty, which wins City the game. They're out of the Title race now. We also have to beat Arsenal now, 2-2 or 2-3 and a draw would have won, that is no longer good enough.

You can only motivate players so much, the rest is up to them. Bellamy has been a winner all season. The rest, apart from Suarez, have been nothing short of a disaster yesterday, I even thought that Adam was at least going to be better than Lucas, guess with Lucas injured, Adam doesn't have any competition for a starting place

1-0 to us at half time, fully deserved lead too. Arsenal started better but showed minimal threat before we started to boss things. Valencia header was very good. Great buildup too. If we can keep this up we'll win comfortably but I would expect some sort of response from Arsenal.

The day the Title race became a two horse race seemingly, and also the weekend the race for the remaining two Champions league places became an even bigger puzzle with Spurs not winning and nether Arsenal nor Chelsea able to follow suit, the only difference is the finishing line is one weekend nearer. But 2-1 is a fine win away at Arsenal. they responded well to being down at half time with a Van Persie equaliser, but we responded with a Welbeck goal. Manchester 2-0 North London.
