in pictures

me and the dogs joined it at crackley woods,which meant that it was about a 9 mile round trip to the end and back,i've included most of the bridges and a few of local surroundings

i felt i had to do this walk as the government are planning on using it as part of a high speed rail link between birmingham and london

Looks like it would be a nice walk. I bet you're glad you got in there whilst you could.

Does the planned link mean they'd have to chop more trees down either side etc?

They have done the same thing here. Destroyed whatever the hell they wanted so they can build massive houses on the side of the mountain. It's not even nice to look at from a distance. I'll stick it out on the farm as long as I can.

there beautiful farmland all along this track but that and the wildlife it supports will soon disappear once this scheme gets going
