its a mere grass snake,i dont know if you have them in america, its bites not toxic to humans but more than deadly to a mouse

We have snakes similar in size and action to that one, but colored very different.

Snakes have to eat. That snake could have been starving and crawled off and died! You could be responsible for diminishing that species population.

first off,i found them together by accident.......and then reverse the roles, the mouse could have been extremely rare and i might have saved the species..grass snakes are common by the way

And that is also a fact about the mouse. In any event I'm glad you saved that mouse cuz there's a puss.... um... cat hunting for it's lunch. :D

I just think it's a tad bit funny your heart bleeds for certain you don't think about that animal that has to hunt the cute furry mouse to survive. I watch too many nature programs I guess.

I pulled a baby bird out of the water by the dock today. It was either going to drown or be lunch for a big fish. I just set it down on the dock. When we finished our work my co-worker asked what was I going to do with the bird. I said I dunno, if I leave it here its going to fall back in. So I'm too nice...I now have some funny looking baby bird here at the house. Its kinda funny, I thought it would be afraid of me but the only time it shuts up and calms down is when I let it sit on my hand. I guess that means its gonna spend the night in a box in the garage...I can't be kept up by chirping.
