No disrespect for starters, and this does not apply to all Brits...

BUT, do Brits not go to the Dentist as much as Americans? I've noticed a lot of Brits in my life with bad teeth, probably 1/2 of the Brits I've met have bad teeth. Is it genetics? Is it something in the food / water?

This reminds me of an American show i watched once where a few girls where getting extreme makeovers and one of them had the most lovely natural gob of teeth and smile and was then put into one of those cosmetic dentist chairs where they filed down all her teeth and put caps on everyone to make them look all the same. Such a shame i thought, even a smile can't be real any more. Plastic boobies, plastic teeth.
